In the world of fashion, where "one day you're in and the other you're out", reaching this pinnacle would be considered a major coup. As the weather gets warmer and pedicure appointments make their way to the top of our 'to-do' lists, I've come to notice friends, family and even the manicurist at the local nail salon calling the humble thongs (flip flops for my American readers)...
